The Brown Family

The brown thrasher is the state bird for my state (Georgia). I think it’s neat that both parents incubate and feed the little ones. The males are very defensive of the nest. I also think it’s neat that brown thrashers can call up to 3,000 different songs.

This picture is made of: hydrangea, maple, mulberry, banana peel, tendrils, goldenrod, dead daylily type foliage, pampas grass, maiden grass, tomatillo, ferns and mica.
