Cardinal in the Snow

There is something special about seeing a cardinal in the snow, isn’t there? Cardinals always stand out but they really stand out against white snow. We have lots of cardinals come to our yard. I think they’re my grandpa’s favorite bird.

This picture is made of: maple, banana peel, seaweed, mulberry, raspberry, cotton, garlic peel and mica.

  1. I very much like the different depths in the frost background. It really looks cold, and the cardinal stands out just the way a live cardinal does in the snow.

  2. Thank you so much for your nice comments on this picture and for the one you left on my cat the other day! It really encourages me!
