Thank you for the comment! This picture was not a commission. It started out from my own idea and has grown and grown until it has become a big lesson on perspective, composition, preservation of my materials and a little bit of ship research. Now I have to figure out how to make the water- that could be a pretty tedious job. But no matter. I'm in my elemenr, bent over a picture a couple hours at a time cutting and gluing tiny pieces of eucalyptus leaves!
It looks like it will be a wonderful picture! Was this your own idea, or was it a requested/commissioned piece?
