Golden Treasures

This picture is made of: maple, banana peel, cotton, bark, statice, zinnia, seaweed, lily and mica.

My Thoughts: For as long as I can remember I’ve enjoyed seeing dozens of goldfinches through the window. They enjoy our thistle feeders. We were given a fancy finch feeder that had perches that would bend under a certain amount of weight. It was supposed to fling squirrels so only the birds could eat. Instead the squirrels wrapped themselves around the bird feeder pole and stretched to reach the food. That’s fine with us because we enjoy seeing the squirrels and the finches feast.
