Why do you think this cornhusk doll design is called Mom’s
Kite? My mom has come up with hundreds of excellent ideas for my business.
She’s never pushed her ideas onto me, but if I want an honest opinion, I go to
my mom. She’s an incredible motivator who always encourages me to try new
things – big and small. She teaches me to prioritize my time and to be ready
for things ahead of time. Mom’s not invasive, but she cares deeply about every
aspect of my art business and shares in the happiness and the sadness. Mom’s
not an avid kite flyer, but she’s the one who came up with the idea for me to
make a kite flyer.
