Sunny Day

This picture is made of: gray poplar, black hollyhock, tiger lily, fern, birch, aucuba, banana peel, pampas grass, seaweed, tulip, cornsilk, hornet’s nest and mica.

My thoughts:  I got to use a lot of interesting materials in this picture! The lady’s dress is made out of tiger lily petals that a friend rescued from the trash. The petals naturally have those black dots on them. The entire picture is made out of various kinds of plant material except for the sidewalk, which is made out of hornet’s nest, and the rain, which is made from a mineral called mica.
