Folk Life Festival

On Saturday, July 28 I will be demonstrating and selling cornhusk dolls during Unicoi State Park’s annual Folk Life Festival from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. My brother, Nathaniel Samsel, will be performing a dulcimer concert from 11:30 – 12:30. There will be a “pass the hat” and his debut CD “Playing in the Creek” will be available. Other mountain-skill demonstrations will also take place. There is a $5 parking fee.
