This
picture is made of: hydrangea, tomatillo, aucuba, cotton, maple,
mulberry, fern, cinnamon, seaweed and some sort of dead daylily type foliage.
My
thoughts: In reading about American robins I was struck by how well
the mom has her act together. She makes a nice nest from grass and mud and
lines it with soft stuff. She raises about three batches of baby birds a year
and builds a fresh nest for each brood. When the eggs hatch, she brings her
young food and carries away their waste. I guess that she cares about a clean
home.
